Literacy Fair |
This is an
annual evening event where students present various technology integration
projects they created throughout the year. Projects include
slideshow presentation of their country of origin, movies scrap booking
their family, webpage book reports and more! In addition, students
present various projects celebrating literacy including students' reading
their Young Author's books and presenting skits. |

Smartboard
+ Engaged Learning = Learning beyond a textbook:
Learning becomes much more exciting and interesting when students are investigating real life problems, making discoveries or assuming a roll such as a newspaper reporter or city mayor. | Dell TechKnow |
The Dell
TechKnow program was started school year 2005 through Mrs. Hussain's and
Mr. Solomon's initiative. This after-school program is offered three
times a year with up to 15 students participating each time.
Students learn how to repair Dell computers and are given the computer for
home use at the end of the program. Please follow the link for more

Budlong School has been participating in the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education. It is the next generation in educational robotics, enabling students to discover science, technology, engineering and math in a fun engaging, hands-on way. Click on the link to the left to learn more! |

All third and fourth grade Budlong students are participating in Fast ForWord everyday for fifty minutes a day. Fast ForWord is patented software specifically designed using the principles of neuroscience to build an individual’s learning capacity.
