Mission Statement

Budlong School will provide the knowledge and understanding to build necessary
skills that enhance word knowledge, comprehension,
writing and fluency to interact and compete in a
rapidly changing global society.

We will accomplish this vision by improving the quality of reading and writing skills
in all core subjects, providing all students with an enriched
learning environment, increasing the training and support for
faculty and staff and gaining further parental and community partnerships.

The priority goals are to:

1.     Improve students' reading comprehension, writing skills, word knowledge and
fluency in order to meet or exceed national norms.

2. Improve all students' science skills in order to meet or exceed national norms.

3. Provide students, teachers and the community with computer training to utilize
the most advanced computer technology systems
to enhance math and reading skills.

To suggest improvements and/or report dead hyperlinks,
please contact Ramon Pagan at rapagan@ cps.edu or Juan Rosales at jrosales9 @cps.edu
