Title:  Name of story

Author:  Person that wrote the story.

Illustrator:  The person who drew or painted the

                               pictures/illustrations

Genre:  The category or type of literature.  (Example:

                    Realistic Fiction, Fantasy, Folktale/Fairy Tale…..)

Characters:  Who is in the story?  What are they like?  Tell 

                                   me something about them.  Be descriptive!!  

Setting where (place) / when (time):  

                         The time and place in which the action of a literary

                         work occurs.  Look for clues about the setting in

                         the opening paragraphs of the story or novel. 

Events:  What happens…
