Dear Budlong Families,

Spring is here.  Warmer weather has arrived and we are all eager to finish the year on a strong note. Because of the collective efforts of teachers and staff and families, the support for Budlong students reached new heights and so did their achievements.  From science fair to talent show, to sports,  our students have represented Budlong well.  I am so very proud of our students and their accomplishments this year.

To organize all our efforts and information, PTA and I are jointly requesting your contact information so we can better coordinate a powerful resource- our parents!  Please go online or fill out the survey sent home in back pack mail.

Staring Monday, we will no longer be using the winter entry plan and students should resume their usual entry protocol.  I want to remind everyone of the importance of coming to school on time, so please make sure your child is here at 8AM.  Preschool, please continue with your schedule as per your teacher.

If you haven’t already, come out and cheer on our Bulldog athletes!  Your presence is recognized and appreciated.  Visit the website for game schedules. 

End of year MAP testing will begin later this month and your child’s teacher can answer any questions you might have.  Let’s do our best.

Budlong is hosting summer school this year and as we receive more information, we will be sure to share details with our families.

Enjoy Mother’s Day this weekend and remind your children one of the best ways to honor mom is by being a great student!!
